Let the crazy violence go on! Muahahahahahaha!Chiru picks up right where we left off at the end of Chapter 4, so obviously you will have wanted to play the first half of the game already before getting into this. But while the "battle" might have seemed like it had ended, the gameboard is hijacked and the games continue even without the "Golden Witch" running things. Fans of the first four episodes will look back on the journey to the truth of the Rokkenjima incident with fondness or disappointment. While I’m part of the former, I understand where its critics are coming from. The writer of the game makes a point to not outright explain one of the central mysteries to the reader and it leans heavily into the fantasy elements in the later episodes, giving it a different tone than the Question arcs. Despite this, it’s still one of my favorite visual novels. Ryukishi07’s art and writing are just as ridiculous as before and the soundtrack is somehow better. And the characters! Some of my favorite characters can only be found in Chiru.. Just the best story I've ever read. Part 2 of the Umineko VN. There's really not much to be said about it.Absolutely stay away from this if you have not played Part 1 (the "Question Arcs")!!If you have played them, you won't need a recommendation for this one :P.
